It’s So Exciting! Special Events Are Back!!!

Thanks to the support of Assistance League Denver (ALD), CRI created a wonderful Art Experience Day at Munroe Elementary on September 30th. Everywhere you looked, The Arts were happening at the school. From 4th graders learning to weave, to 1st graders creating autumn leaf pictures inspired by an Emily Bronte poem, to 2nd graders learning rhythms from around the world, and much more, it was a wonderfully rich day.

The smiles on the faces of the students and the numerous Thank-Yous from staff members reinforced our belief that this type of enriching program is desperately needed in our schools, especially after a year of virtual learning. We are so grateful for the commitment of ALD to bringing art experiences to the students of Denver Public Schools.

There are many more schools and students who would love to have an art day (or a science day). If you know of any potential sponsors for such special events, please contact Sue Edwards at sue_edwards@dpsk12.org.
