At the core of CRI’s programming is the dedication and talent of more than 300 individuals who serve as volunteer presenters, speakers, readers, advisors and mentors. The true “resource” in Community Resources, these volunteers share their expertise and enthusiasm with students, teachers and families.

Volunteers visit schools at the request of CRI and represent virtually every area of the curriculum. During the past school year these individuals volunteered over 2,600 hours and made more than 90,000 student contacts. Indeed, the heart of our organization is our wonderful and diverse volunteers, not the least of which are the members of the CRI Board of Directors.
