Lora received her PhD from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from the Molecular Biology Program and subsequently studied non-small cell lung cancer, NSCLC, and developed novel molecular based therapies for pancreatic cancer as part of the Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. It was doing this time, that Lora was introduced to Community Resource Inc. It was for her efforts with two middle school girls, that Lora received Community Resource Inc’s Mentor of the Year award in 2013. Currently, Lora is an Oncology Field Medical Director at Pfizer with an emphasis in Genitourinary Oncology. She has been a Community Resource Inc board member since 2017.
